Burglaries and thefts reported
- A 1990 Geo Metro was taken sometime Wednesday afternoon from the 300 block of East Ninth Street. A 47-year-old Lawrence man reported the car missing to police. The car was valued at $1,200.
- Someone broke into a 1998 Dodge Neon during the night of Dec. 19 while it was parked in the 4500 block of Wimbledon Drive. A 21-year-old Lawrence man reported the burglary.
