Agnes Elnora Bouton

Mrs. Bouton died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2002 at Lakeview Manor. Burial will be in Reno Cemetery, Reno.

She was born July 7, 1937, in Stigler, Okla., the daughter of Phillip Lee and Roodia (Dees) Grindstaff. She moved with her family to Lawrence more than 50 years ago from Coffeyville. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1955.

Mrs. Bouton worked as the office manager for PACE Alliance for many years.

She married Edwin Bouton on Nov. 11, 1955, in Richmond, Mo. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Gail Mailen, Tonganoxie; two sons, Brian Bouton and Marc Bouton, both of Lawrence; a brother, Phillip D. Grindstaff, Dallas; and four grandchildren.

A grandson died earlier.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the mortuary.

The family suggests memorials to the Indian Hills Church of God or to the charity of the donor’s choice, sent in care of the mortuary.
