Lake Buena Vista, Fla. ? A woman taking part in a minor-league baseball promotion collapsed and died as she ran across the baseball field in search of a hidden diamond.

Victoria Lampe, 28, was one of about 250 women and girls who took part in the promotion after Friday night’s game between the Orlando Rays and Jacksonville Suns.

Lampe appeared to suffer a seizure in the infield of the Disney’s Wide World of Sports stadium, according to Bo Jones, a spokesman for Reedy Creek Fire Department.

The Orlando woman was taken to Celebration Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, Jones said.
