Reno, Nev. ? David Padgett, a 6-foot-11 high school senior center from Reno High, officially has narrowed his college choices to four Kansas, Arizona, Stanford and North Carolina.

Padgett told the Reno (Nev.) Gazette-Journal he would visit North Carolina on Labor Day weekend, then have in-home visits with KU’s Roy Williams on Sept. 9, UNC’s Matt Doherty Sept. 10, Arizona’s Lute Olson Sept 12 and Stanford’s Mike Montgomery on Sept. 19.

He hopes to have a decision reached by early October. Padgett, who has eliminated Oregon, UNLV and Cal-Berkeley, averaged 23 points and 14 rebounds last year.
