Hubert-Beightel

Wes and Pat Hubert and C.W. and Karen Beightel, all of Lawrence, announce the engagement of their children, Laura Elaine Hubert and Eric Benjamin Beightel, both of Lawrence.

The future bride is a 1996 graduate of Lawrence High School. She received her bachelor’s degree in economics in 2000 from Kansas University. She is a distribution planner for Payless ShoeSource Inc., Topeka.

The future groom is a 1995 graduate of Lawrence High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies in 2001 from KU. He is a permitting coordinator for Brungardt Honomichl & Co. PA in Overland Park.

The couple plan a Nov. 9 wedding at Plymouth Congregational Church in Lawrence.
