Chiefs sign FB Moreau

? Running back Frank Moreau agreed to a two-year contract on Monday with the Kansas City Chiefs, the team that drafted him in 2000 and cut him a year later.

The Chiefs did not disclose the terms of the agreement.

Moreau played in three games, starting one, for Jacksonville last year after being cut by the Chiefs in the preseason. He rushed for 27 yards and one touchdown on eight carries.

Moreau, a fourth-round pick out of Louisville, played in 11 games for the Chiefs as a rookie. He carried 67 times for 179 yards and four touchdowns.

To make room for Moreau on the roster, the Chiefs released linebacker Harold Robertson, a rookie free agent from Texas A&M.
