Free fair: Truck breakdown causes event cancellation

To the dismay of many Douglas County Free Fair-goers, the antique tractor pull scheduled for Thursday night had to be canceled.

The truck that was bringing in the sled for the tractor pull broke down and was unable to get the sled to the fairgrounds, the Fair Board Office said.

An already packed schedule will prevent fair organizers from rescheduling the tractor pull.
