Burglaries and thefts reported

A 56-year-old Lawrence man reported that his 1989 Chevrolet Mark III van valued at $10,000 and tools valued at $1,800 were taken between 6 p.m. and midnight Thursday from his house in the 2100 block of Clinton Parkway.

A green 1992 Dodge Colt was vandalized between 7:15 p.m. and 7:22 p.m. Friday in the 2100 block of New Hampshire Street. The car belongs to a 19-year-old Lawrence woman.

A Panasonic car stereo valued at $450, 75 compact discs valued at $1,125 and two other items valued at $515 were taken from a car on the 1000 block of Emery Road between 6 p.m. Friday and 8:25 a.m. Saturday. The owner is a 19-year-old man from Gorin, Mo.

A 27-year-old Manhattan man reported that his dark blue Santa Cruz bike valued at $3,500 was taken between 8:15 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Saturday from the 800 block of New Hampshire Street

Two antique wedding rings valued at $5,000, a bag of antique currency valued at $7,000 and antique costume jewelry valued at $300 were taken between 6 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Saturday from the 2100 block of Kentucky Street. The items belong to a 40-year-old Lawrence woman.

An inside garage door was damaged, and a Firesafe with papers and other items were taken from the 3500 block of West Ninth Street, a 27-year-old Lawrence woman reported. The disappearance occurred between 4:20 p.m. and 11 p.m. Saturday, with a total loss of $1,747.97.
