Taylor services

He was born Jan. 10, 1945, in Gardner, the son of Thomas R. and Frances E. (Johnston) Taylor. He grew up on a farm near Gardner and graduated from Gardner High School in 1965. He also lived on a farm south of Worden before he moved in 1986 to Baldwin.

Mr. Taylor was a master builder and owner of Taylor Made Remodeling. He also worked for Associated Building, Paola. He was a member of the Witness Band, a southern gospel group, and Sonflower Lay Witness group. He attended New Life Assembly of God Church, Baldwin.

He married Burdine M. Twichell on Aug. 7, 1966, at Baldwin. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Eugene T. and Dean R., both of Baldwin; a daughter, Janine K. Taylor, Olathe; his mother, Wellsville; and a brother, Harold, Wellsville.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. today at Lamb-Roberts-Heise Funeral Home, Baldwin, where the family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
