CU has five players drafted

? Defensive tackle Justin Bannan and offensive tackle Victor Rogers were selected on the second day of the NFL draft on Sunday, giving the University of Colorado a total of five draftees.

Bannan, a solid defender who started every game his last three seasons in Boulder, was chosen by the Buffalo Bills early in the fifth round.

Rogers, rated one of the top 10 tackles in the draft, lasted until late in the seventh round, going to the Detroit Lions.

On Saturday, tight end Daniel Graham was a first-round choice of New England. Offensive guard Andre Gurode went to Dallas early in the second round, and safety Michael Lewis was taken by Philadelphia later in the same round.
