Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers opened 1.00-3.00 lower, with instances of 4.00-5.00 lower. Live and feeder cattle contracts at the CME opened with triple digit losses Wednesday morning, causing Feeder buyers to be a lot more selective of quality; and also be more conservative with their bids.
