Kaw Valley FC takes down Green Bay

Kaw Valley FC stole three points with some clutch soccer on the road Thursday night.

Lorant Lettner got on the end of a long ball from Chase Bromstedt during stoppage time, scoring the game-winning goal in a 2-1 win over Green Bay. Kaw Valley FC was rewarded with three points for the win, rather than just one for what easily could have been a draw.

Green Bay notched the first score of the match, but the Cranes evened things up in the 32nd minute. Bromstedt delivered a corner kick and Lucas Bartlett was credited with the initial header on the equalizer.

Kaw Valley FC (6-1-3) will play another road match against Green Bay at 7 p.m. Saturday at Capital Credit Union Park.
