Kaw Valley FC knocks off WSA Winnipeg

With postseason around the corner, Kaw Valley FC picked up three key points on the road Monday night.

Kaw Valley FC took down WSA Winnipeg, 2-0, in an indoor facility on the road. It was the first time all year that the Cranes played a match indoors. The Cranes (7-3-4) struck first on their first corner attempt, as Jordan Salt was credited with the score in the 29th minute.

Alex Kaddah added a goal in the 82nd minute to remove any doubt about the outcome. Kaw Valley FC is now five points ahead of Thunder Bay Chill, which has three matches remaining, for second place in the Heartland Division.

Kaw Valley FC will close out the 2019 campaign with a friendly match at Bugeaters FC at 6 p.m. Saturday.
