Letter to the editor: ‘Do unto others’
To the editor:
With all the chaos, confusion, violence, protests and disorder these days, far too many of the participants — be they protesters, authorities, activists, looters, organizers or very concerned citizens — have forgotten, have disdain for, disregarded, or just plain don’t care about one of the very basic tenets of successful human interaction: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
Perhaps if they did more of that, instead of yelling and screaming at each other in anger, hatred and frustration, we could forge our way to both understanding each other and accommodating our differences.
