The Lawrence school district will hold classes as scheduled on Tuesday despite the previous day’s snowfall, while several neighboring districts have canceled school or delayed their start times.

• The Baldwin City school district will have a 2-hour delayed start on Tuesday with classes beginning at 10 a.m. and ending at 3:15 p.m. As a result of the 2-hour delay, preschool classes did not meet, according to a social media post.

• The Eudora school district has cancelled classes on Tuesday due to winter weather, according to a social media post.

• The Perry-Lecompton school district has cancelled all classes on Tuesday due to refreezing and untreated road conditions, specifically back gravel roads. High school administrators are working with opposing school administrators to determine if activities scheduled for tonight are feasible. A decision will be made by 1 p.m. on Tuesday, according to a social media post.
