A soggy start to the week will force Lawrence High School’s graduation ceremony to move indoors Tuesday night.

The ceremony, which begins at 7 p.m., will be held at Allen Fieldhouse on the campus of the University of Kansas, the Lawrence school district announced Tuesday morning. Doors will open to the public at 5 p.m., and graduates should be in their designated areas by 6:30 p.m., the district said.

The graduation ceremonies for Lawrence High and Free State High are typically held at the schools’ football stadiums. Free State’s graduation is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday, and the decision on a location will be made by 1 p.m. Wednesday, the district said.
