Potential jurors who have been trying to contact Douglas County District Court about jury duty next week may have met some roadblocks Friday as communications systems at the Judicial and Law Enforcement Center were down for much of Friday.

A trial is scheduled beginning Monday in Division Six.

If residents did not receive a personal call telling them to appear for jury duty, they do not need to appear, according to District Court Clerk Doug Hamilton.

Potential jurors in groups 9, 10, 11 and 12 must report to the courthouse on Monday, and they all should have received a phone call.

Those in groups 1 to 8 do not need to appear, Hamilton said.
