Updated at 3:29 p.m. Friday
A 29-year-old man was killed and three others were injured as the result of a two-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff’s office personnel responded at approximately 2:40 p.m. Thursday to the accident in the 1300 block of East 1900 Road, according to an email from Jenn Hethcoat, public information officer.
Jackson Gragg, who was driving a white vehicle involved in the accident, died at the scene, Hethcoat said.
Billy Ray, the 81-year-old driver of a red vehicle involved in the accident, was taken in a personal vehicle to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, Hethcoat said.
Two passengers were also involved in the wreck; Sharon Ray, 80, suffered serious injuries, and Chance McKinney, 28, suffered life-threatening injuries. Both were taken by ground ambulance to area hospitals, Hethcoat wrote.
The crash was still under investigation as of 1 p.m. Friday, and no further information was available.
Correction: A previous version of this story included an incorrect spelling of the victim’s name, which was provided by the sheriff’s office. Jackson Gragg was the driver who was killed.
