A Kansas City, Mo., man was arrested on suspicion of rape Thursday morning, jail records indicate.

The 45-year-old was arrested on a probable cause warrant in connection with a 2019 court case, according to the Douglas County Jail booking log.

He was released on $25,000 surety bond to appear for a court hearing on March 19, according to jail records.

The Journal-World will request his booking photo from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office if and when he is formally charged in Douglas County District Court.
