The Department of Veteran Affairs outpatient clinic has moved to a new location at 4821 Quail Crest Place and will open on Monday.

The Department of Veterans Affairs Eastern Kansas Health Care System will open a new outpatient clinic on Monday.

The clinic, at 4821 Quail Crest Place, is triple the size of the former Lawrence location, VA Eastern Kansas spokesman Joseph Burks said. The former location was 2200 Harvard Road.

Veterans who are not enrolled in the VA’s health care may go to https://www.topeka.va.gov/ or call the clinic’s number to see if they qualify. Because of COVID-19, veterans are encouraged to call the clinic before showing up for services. The clinic’s number is 800-574-8387 with extension 54650. It will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Services include primary care, social work, pharmacy consultations, chiropractic, acupuncture and more.

“We are proud and honored to serve our great Veterans throughout the Lawrence, Kansas community. This new outpatient clinic is meant to provide so much more than just a place to seek medical care. It is created to give Veterans, and the staff who serve them, a modern atmosphere of health and healing,” Burks said in a news release.
