A Starbucks employee working at the location on Bauer Farm Drive recently tested positive for COVID-19, according to a Starbucks spokesperson.

The same day the store learned of the employee’s diagnosis, the store was closed and underwent a deep cleaning, media relations team member Jory Mendes wrote in an email to the Journal-World. The affected employee and all other employees with whom the affected individual was in close contact are currently self-isolating and are being compensated for the time they will miss during the 14 days of self-isolation, Mendes wrote.

Because of staffing limitations, the store, located at 4701 Bauer Farm Drive, was closed. It will reopen on Friday.
