Portion of North Street in North Lawrence closed because of flooding
A block of North Street in North Lawrence is closed because of flooding.
North Street, between North Third and North Fourth streets, is closed because of water over the road, the city announced in a news release Monday morning. It is anticipated that the road will be closed for about two days and that motorists should expect delays in the area.
Detour signs are in place to direct traffic around the street closure. The city will provide updates as more information becomes available.
