Veritas tops St. Mary’s in overtime, 61-55
A fourth-quarter rally forced overtime and Veritas Christian’s boys basketball team used that momentum to outlast St. Mary’s on Saturday at East Lawrence Rec Center for a 61-55 victory.
The Eagles outscored St. Mary’s 28-14 following the end of the third quarter. Trey Huslig led with 19 points and four assists, while Tucker Flory had 17 points and six rebounds.
Veritas (8-4) will face Gardner Edgerton in the first round of the Spring Hill Tournament at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday.
