A pair of third-place finishes in doubles highlighted the Lawrence high schools’ performances in the Lawrence High Invitational on Friday.

Free State’s Ian Pultz-Earle and Erik Czapinski placed third at No. 1 doubles, and the Firebirds’ Seamus Ryan-Jonah Pester placed third at No. 2 doubles.

Free State’s David Neff was fourth at No. 1 singles, and Declan Forth was fourth at No. 2.

For LHS, Elliott Abromeit placed fifth at No. 1 singles, and Zach Bowie was fifth at No. 2. Michael Braman and Jonathan Kinder placed fourth at No. 1 doubles, while Sam Allen-Chanse Bowie placed sixth at No. 2.
