KU to hold forum on Ebola outbreak

The Kansas University African Studies Center will sponsor a panel discussion on the current Ebola outbreak at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 12 in the Malott Room of the Kansas Union.

The panel will be composed of Ebenezer Obadare, associate professor of sociology; Glenn Adams, associate professor of psychology; and Sandra Gray, associate professor of anthropology. All three are KU faculty members.

The discussion will run until 5 p.m. The panel will touch on reactions to Ebola in West Africa and the world, the biology of the disease and the international public health structure, among other topics.
