LHS baseball loses at ONW

? Olathe Northwest broke a tie with two runs in the sixth inning and defeated Lawrence High baseball, 4-2, on Tuesday.

The Lions took a 2-1 lead in the second on a run-scoring double by Jacob Seratte and an RBI single by Zak McAlister.

“The bottom line is they got two two-out base knocks with runners in scoring position, and we didn’t,” LHS coach Brad Stoll said. “We hit some balls right at some guys. They just were the better team tonight.”

The Lions (4-2) will host Olathe North on Thursday.
