If you have a favorite Girl Scout cookie, consider participating in the Girl Scout Cookie Bracket Tournament today.

Members of Girl Scout Troop 653, who are fourth- and fifth-graders at Sunflower School, will conduct their Cookie Bracket Tournament from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. today at Perkins Restaurant, 1711 W. 23rd St.

Participants can pick their favorites or suspected winners in a bracket, and winning cookies will be decided by number of votes. Correct brackets will move on to the next round of voting. The brackets that match will enter a drawing to win a box of cookies.

Cindy Bracker, troop leader, said they decided to prep people for the NCAA basketball tournament and to sell their cookies.
