Betty Cornelius

No public services are planned at this time for Betty Lou Cornelius, 81, Lawrence, who passed away Monday, November 28, 2022, at her home.

She was born November 15, 1941, in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of William Alfred and Beatrice Mary Oleson Wigersma. She worked as a hairdresser and homemaker, and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of St. Joseph.

Betty was preceded in death by her first husband, James Nelson Glidewell, in 1990, her second husband, Clarence 'Wayne' Cornelius, a son, J.W. Glidewell, and a stepdaughter Patti Cannon.

She is survived by sons Randy Glidewell (Catherine) and Rick Cornelius (Theresa), a daughter, Terri Donati (Daryl), ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
