On May 28, 2017, Ron and Carolyn Lang will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on May 28, 1967 in Topeka, Kansas. Mrs. Lang is the daughter of the late Edwin and Melba Miller of Topeka. She worked at Kansas University for 30 years and retired from KU’s Natural History Museum as the Office Manager and Events Coordinator. Mr. Lang is the son of the late Robert and Inez Lang of Leavenworth, Kansas. Ron is a retired Lawrence High School English teacher. They have two children, Shaun Lang, wife Luann and son Jackson of Los Angeles, California and daughter Errin Martinez, husband Ryan and two daughters, Angel and Allie.
