Jamie Machele Rehmer, Eudora, and John David “J.D.” Greer, Leawood, were married June 8, 2009, at South Park, in Lawrence, with the Rev. Kevin Wood officiating.
The bride is the daughter of James and Belinda Rehmer, Eudora.
The groom is the son of Joseph and Beth Greer, Leawood.
Maid of honor was Kendra Bearden. Best man was Tyler Harnett. Bride’s attendant was Amber Parks Seymour. Musicians were Justin Klass and Kate Wasserman. Program attendants were Ellen Beard and Molly Jensen. Master of Ceremonies was Steven Rehmer.
A reception was given at the Signs of Life Art Gallery in Lawrence.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Eudora High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from MidAmerica Nazarene University.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Blue Valley North High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Kansas University.
The couple moved to South Korea to teach elementary school at Bucheon Poly School.
