Paul “Jim” and Leona Nunn, Edwards Mo., will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a picnic luncheon hosted by their children on Oct. 3 in Warsaw, Mo.
Paul Nunn and Leona Minter were married Nov. 18, 1949, in Kansas City, Kan.
The couple lived in Bonner Springs and Linwood for several years and currently reside in the Forthview area of Missouri. Paul was employed at Lone Star Cement Plant in Bonner Springs for 30 years and retired in 1978.
They have two daughters, Janice Green and husband John, Warsaw, Mo., and Marilyn Pitnick and husband Steve, Lawrence; four sons, Danny and Jerry, both of Warsaw, Mike and wife Cindy, Linwood, and the late Toby; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
