John Weltmer and Patty McGrew, both of Lawrence, along with John and Debby Kealing, Chesterfield, Mo., announce the engagement of their children, Anne Weltmer and Jonathan Kealing, both of Lawrence.
The future bride is a 2003 graduate of Lawrence High School and earned bachelor’s degrees in history and journalism from Kansas University in 2007. She plans to graduate from KU’s School of Law in May 2010.
The future groom is a 2003 graduate of Parkway Central High School and earned bachelor’s degrees in journalism and political science from KU in 2007. He is the online editor for LJWorld.com.
The couple plan a May 8, 2010, wedding at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lawrence.
