O’Hurley-Van Saun
Sarah O’Hurley, Canton, Mass., and Joseph Van Saun, Lawrence, were married Jan. 2, 2009, at St. Mary of the Assumption, Brookline Village, Mass., with the Revs. Thomas Fleming, James McCune and Jack Ahern officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Neal and Christine O’Hurley, Canton, Mass.
The groom is the son of Paul and Debbie Van Saun, Lawrence.
Maid of honor was Tricia O’Hurley. Best man was Michael McQueeney. Bridesmaids were Katie Bennett, Lizzie Boyle, Lindsay Cope, Ally Lynch, Liz O’Hara, Maya Sirur, Heather Sokolower and Kristen Van Saun Toner. Groomsmen were Jess Criswell, Gordon Glover, Chris Lucarz, Chris O’Hurley, Jack O’Hurley, Derek Sbrogna, Ryan Toner and Patrick Watkins. Flower girls were Caroline Arend and Elaina Van Saun. Ringbearers were Jeffrey Arend and William O’Hurley. Greeters were Carli Lynch and Michael O’Hurley. Altar server was Shawn Lynch. Eucharistic minister was Michelle Lynch. Soloist was John O’Hurley.
A reception was given in the Cityview Ballroom at The Seaport World Trade Center, in Boston.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Cardinal Gibbons High School, Raleigh, N.C. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Boston College in 2005 and is studying for a Master of Science degree in nursing from Connell School of Nursing at Boston College.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Free State High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Boston College in 2004 and a Master of Science degree in accounting from Kansas University in 2005. He is a certified public accountant for AEW Capital Management in Boston.
The couple reside in Brookline Village, Mass.
