Deidra Fulks, Lawrence, and Preston Williams, Bentonville, Ark., announce their engagement.
The future bride is the daughter of Anthony Fulks, Bryant, Ala., and Debbie Fulks, Lawrence. She is a 2005 graduate of Free State High School and earned an associate degree in mortuary science from Kansas City Kansas Community College in May.
The future groom is the son of Timothy Williams, Harrison, Ark., and Lois Cobb, Gentry, Ark. He is a 2002 graduate of the Alternative High School in Siloam Springs, Ark., and is an assistant manager at Wal-Mart.
The couple plan a Sept. 19, 2009, wedding at Rotary Arboretum in Lawrence.
