Dan and Debbie Johnson announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Johnson, to Jonathan Riley, all of Hastings, Neb.
The future bride is a 2002 graduate of 32-Mile Creek Home School in Juniata, Neb., and earned a bachelor’s degree with a double major in music and business administration from Hastings College in 2006. She is a secretary at Hastings Berean Bible Church, in Hastings, and is also a home health care provider.
The future groom is the son of Mike and Leanna Riley, Lawrence. He is a 2003 graduate of Free State High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Mid-America Nazarene University in 2007. He is a chemist at IEH Laboratories in Hastings.
The couple plan an Oct. 17, 2009, wedding at Hastings Berean Bible Church.
