KU basketball’s NCAA tourney anthems: ‘F.O.E.’ by MerQury and ‘Red and Blue KU’ by B Double E

If ever there was an event was ripe for creating an anthem, it’s the NCAA basketball tournament. Thankfully, local artists continue to deliver. Below are two songs made this year in support of the Jayhawks. I hear there’s a third song out there, too, so send it my way if I missed it: wmathews@ljworld.com.

After you listen to both songs, vote in the poll: Which song about KU do you like more?

If you follow some KU basketball players on Twitter, you know they’ve been adding “F.O.E.” to their tweets all season. The acronym stands for Family Over Everything. Hip-hop artist MerQury (aka Roderick Harris) gives us ‘F.O.E.’ in honor of the team’s motto.

B Double E brings “Red and Blue KU” to the table. This song is available for download for free at www.beekc.com.
