Monday, Kansas Rep. Virgil Peck grabbed plenty of attention when he suggested using hunters in helicopters to shoot illegal immigrants and then compared them to feral hogs.

At first, Peck said he was joking, but on Tuesday he issued a two-sentence apology.

Thursday, Peck declined to speak with CNN about the situation. CNN posted an article online about Peck’s comments. In the article, they call Gov. Sam Brownback “Kansas Gov. Sam Brownstone.”
