Forgive me if I missed this, I did not see the printed paper if it was there. Did I miss the Journal World report on New York State senate passage of gay marriage? Not a court ruling, the State Senate. I am sure it will show up on the blogs or editorial in the following days, but this happened on Friday. Was the event so well covered everywhere else in the national press that it did not make the Brownback culture blitzkrieg real time news cut here?
I realize that there are a lot of national stories to sift through for a local paper with such a busy state Governor. The passage of this legislation not only seems like a big deal, but also relevant to the constant culture war themed news reporting that exist here.
There seems to be no stop in flow of local news through the weekend, so I am asking seriously what are the qualifications to make the national cut?
