Speeding Through a School Zone

I don't know if this will ever be read by the person in violation but perhaps her family or friends will and relay the message to her. Yesterday about 3:30 p.m., a lady driving a dark blue Chevy Impala decided that she would not only break the law by speeding in a school zone, but barely missed hitting my daughter, who was in a marked crosswalk. I hope wherever you were going was worth it and I pray that you don't ever have to wonder what that feels like when your child calls you to tell you that they were almost hit by a car, that seemed to just come out of nowhere. And yes, my child does know when to cross the street. Apparently looking both ways and again to make sure it was safe to cross wasn't good enough. But thankfully her life was spared.
