What to Call the "Bad GM"?
The financial press is reporting that GM may file Chapter 11 next week. As part of this filing, they may split GM into two companies: a "Good GM" that will inherit the good assets and a "Bad GM" that will inherit the bad assets. The bad assets will be liquidated, with the investors receiving a small portion of their investment back from the liquidation. If this happens, what should the "Bad GM" company be named? What's your opinion?

LJW: I know your automatic editor thing that changes all-caps to mostly lower case is a good thing to prevent flaming e-mails. But then it makes dumb changes like changing "GM" (both caps for the name of the car company) to "Gm" in the link that is posted under "most discussed" it really isn't helpful.
Thanks.

Maybe they've already got it. The name of the bad company is........ General Motors. The good company should have the new name.

Marion Motors would be a good for the bad GM. Both have experience with bankruptcy.
