Never to Ever! by L. Don Oliver

I've never seen the antelope play, Or been where the eagles ; Felt the warmth of a campfire, Or heard the lonely wolf _;

I've never seen a beautiful rainbow, Or heard a church bell _; Never in the darkness of night, Heard a sweet songbird _;

I've never felt wind upon my face, Or a gentle rain falling _; Never walked upon fresh fallen snow, When it blanketed the ___;

I've never seen a green forest, Or heard a lovely __; Never paused for a moment, To smell the scented _;

I've never seen a rambling brook, Or heard the children at _; Never walked along the beach shore, On a bright sun shining ;

I've never seen a mountain high, Or strolled the lush valley ; Never smelled a cultivated field, Or watched the flowers _;

The Flower Garden! by L. Don Oliver

She planted a flower garden, In the early spring; When the Eagle soars, And the Robins sing;

Pretty carnations and marigolds, Planted all in a row; She planted red roses, And watched them grow;

Every morning she cultivated them, With her lovely delicate hands; Until one day she succumbed,
From all of life's demands;

Most of the flowers lived, Some we could not save, We picked all the fresh ones, And placed them on her grave;

We planted a flower garden, In the early spring; When the Eagle soars, And the Robins sing;

Swampyville’s - Our Archaic “Bill of Rights”!

From The Swampyville Gazette!

OUR ARCHAIC "BILL OF RIGHTS"!

Being Facetious! (Of course, we don't know what's going to happen tomorrow!)

I for one, feel that we should have a Constitutional Convention and rewrite the current archaic "Bill of Rights" (First Ten Amendments to the United States Constitution)! Help, the powers that are, out (they've been struggling for over l00 years to accomplish this agenda; but, that damn U.S Constitution has always been in their way). My recommended changes are as follows:

NEW BILL OF RIGHTS!

First Amendment:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion (with the exception of Secularism), or criticizing political correctness speech, or the freedom of the Federal/International Government controlled media (including the Internet) to manipulate the truth!

Second Amendment:

A well regulated police state, being necessary for the control of the people by the Federal/International Government, the right of the Federal/International Government to determine and confiscate weapons of mass destruction (all weapons, including pellet guns) being held by the people, shall not be infringed!

Third Amendment:

This amendment determined by the government to be obsolete! The Federal/International Government can, by law, do what ever they want to do without any incrimination! (They make the laws!)

Fourth Amendment:

The people have no rights to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against any searches or seizures! Therefore, no search warrants shall be issued!

Fifth Amendment:

Every person will be held to answer for any crimes (rather, true or false) and/or for any critical statements made against the Federal/International Government!

Sixth Amendment:

In all Federal/International Government persecutions, the accused shall not enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial!

Seventh Amendment:

Civil trial by jury - forget about it!

Eighth Amendment:

Excessive bail shall be required, and excessive fines imposed, and cruel and unusual punishments inflicted for any crime/critical statements made against the Federal/International Government!

Ninth Amendment:

The enumeration in the U.S. Constitution, of certain rights, will be denied for those previously retained by the people.

Tenth Amendment:

No powers will be delegated to individual States or to the people! (All power will be retained by the Federal/International Government)

Leap of Faith! By L. Don Oliver

Where oh! where, is the mind; Life oh! life, can unwind;

Down, down, into the unshown; Reason why, never known;

Hearing, the Grim Reaper's cry; Is it just the wind, rushing by;

Into a deep abyss, where I fall; Hoping Heaven, will hear my call;

Flowering wings, about to sail; Praying that, providence will prevail;

New life, billowing aloud; Meandering along, like a cloud;

Clear eyes, deep blue skies; Up where, the eagle flies;

Assured that life, is at an ease; Floating gently, in the breeze;

All fear gone, faith by my side; Upon Earth's Green, I'll soon abide;

Drifting With the Breeze! By L. Don Oliver

Upon the breeze, the changing leaves, Are carried hither and fro; Never to last, their final cast; In time they will eventually know;

They are tossed about, up and down, They slowly drift and fade away; Then turning from rust, back into dust, It's the deceivers they must obey;

There if you please, the falling leaves, They are much a lot like us; We're thrown about, with mistrust and doubt, And things we dare not discuss;

This should not be, for us to see, When there is always a better way; A solid rock, will absorb the shock, No matter what game they play;

Swampyville’s - Beware of the “Geriatric Virus”!

From the Swampyville Gazette!

"BEWARE!!!" of the "Geriatric Virus"!

Swampyville's - Facetiously Speaking?

The Geriatric Virus!

The Geriatric Virus is a costly disease that afflicts those who reach the age of 62. The Geriatrics Virus is incurable and the only way to prevent it from occurring, is to euthanize those who will contract it after they obtain the age of 62! If they are not euthanized they will become an expensive burden on the Socialist Progressives (both, Democratic and Republican parties); especially, the special interests. Of those who currently have this virus, they must be denied any treatment that will prolong this debilitating disease!

Signs of those who have the Geriatric Virus!

Those obtaining the age of 62 (The age they can begin collecting Social Security).

Immobility.

Instability.

Incontinence.

Impaired intellect/memory.

Impaired vision.

Hearing loss.

Isolation.

Depression.

Dependence.

Eradicating this dreadful disease will seriously effect the medical field (who wish to prolong this disease - its that profit thing); however, they have overcome any and all obstacles in the past and I'm sure they will recover from the eradication of this deadly disease!

ALTHOUGH THERE IS NO CURRENT HOPE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE THE GERIATRIC VIRUS, THE GOVERNMENT IS LAUNDERING BILLIONS OF TAX DOLLARS THROUGH MEDICAL RESEARCH WHILE HOPING TO NEVER FIND A CURE FOR THIS DREADED DISEASE!

PROGRESSIVISM: "Take from those who paid for it and give it to those who didn't pay for it"!

THERE IS NO SUCH IDEOLOGY AS PROGRESSIVISM ITSELF; HOWEVER, THERE IS AN IDEOLOGY OF PROGRESSIVE "GREEDISM"!

SOCIAL SECURITY and MEDICARE wasn't created for the elderly.
These programs were created as an additional revenue source for the government to spend/give away at tax payer's expense!

A Swampyville Spring! By L. Don Oliver

In my seventy third Spring, The squirrels are digging up their stash; The little sparrow is on the wing, The honeybee and hummingbird about to clash;

The Blue Heron is on it's perch, Waiting for a tasty meal to swim by; The flowers are unfolding their blooms, Where the warbling wrens still fly;

A black racer snake chasing a lizard, The fish are leaping in the brook; A frog croaking upon a lily pad, The hungry bear departs it's nook;

An unconcerned cold blooded Alligator, Lazily sunning upon a fallen tree; A large clump of water hyacinths, floating to where they shouldn't be

Fishing with an old cane pole, Watching the cork bobbing along; Lifting the line from the water, No worry that the bait is gone;

Remembering a far away youth, Searching for a four leaf clover; Perhaps one day I will find it, Before this existence is over;

The leaves are shading green, The cypress trees are growing tall; I will enjoy every approaching spring, Until, for me, there is none at all;

Freedom's Wake! By L. Don Oliver

Standing by a grave stone, History etched upon it's face; One who sacrificed his all, Is now lying in disgrace;

He heard the beating of a drum, The beckoning call of a fife; Never once thinking of himself, He went forth to pledge his life;

Into the Valley of the Damned, No thought to his own affair; For God, family and country, He dared to venture there;

Now, he is purposely forgotten, Lying in a field overgrown with weeds; No one there to salute his valor. Too busy with their own selfish needs;

We are in the Progressive's fold, Where Freedom has become passe; What we once could say before, Today, we dare not say;

When Internationalism seals it's place, And Nationalism is without any call; We have only ourselves to blame, For this Republic's eventual fall;

One Yellow Rose! By L. Don Oliver

While trimming the abundant weeds, Before the event of Summer kind; A very lovely Yellow Rose, While weeding, I did find;

Where did it come from, Mine not to reason why; It was such a beautiful rose, Enough to make this one sigh;

Not wishing to cut it down, I trimmed around it's base; I espied an industrious Honeybee, Exiting it's lovely face;

The little Honeybee returned, I let the Yellow Rose lie; It's beauty to never be seen, If I had caused it to die;

Whenever Never Comes! By L. Don Oliver

Whenever my never comes, And there will come that flame; Looking back upon the road of life, Did I venture the proper lane?;

Taking everything for granted, Was the only avenue for me; Never searching for the answers, That closed eyes refused to see;

Spring vanished into Summer, Like a thief in the night; Summer escaped into Autumn, Altering its changing light;

Winter was but a moment, Regrets blanketed the ground; No more tomorrows to come, Life is so deeply profound;

Never, did I say the right words, Nor, did I do the little things; To enjoy each awakening hour, And the beauty that it brings;

Now that life has passed me by, Only destiny remains to persuade; What will be the consequence, Of the choices that were made?;

Swampyville’s - The “Greedyologists” among us!

From the Swampyville Gazette!

Swampyville's - Reading Between the Lines!

Someone ask me when I retired what I was going to do? I replied; "Oh! Sit around and watch the government take away everything that I earned and give to those who didn't earn it"! They are doing a real good job of that; especially, giving it to those "Who Want It All"! Greed has become the new rage of the land!

What is Greed and who are the Greedyologists?

Greed is the inordinate desire to possess wealth, goods, or objects of abstract value with the intention to keep it for one's self, far beyond the dictates of basic survival and comfort. It is applied to a extremely high desire for and pursuit of wealth, status, and power (to have it all).

As a secular psychological concept, greed is, similarly, an inordinate desire to acquire or possess more than one needs. It is typically used to identify those who seek excessive material wealth,; although, it also applies to those who need to be more excessively social (Cocktail parties) or superior (Elitists) to someone else. "That Progressive Thing" that's being jammed down our throats!

WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU HEARD A PROGRESSIVE TAKE A VOW OF POVERTY? (They are Progressive! Progressively getting richer!)

GREED HAS NO IDEOLOGY!

Inherited Traits of Congressional/Administration/Special Interests Greedyopaths:

Constant failure, to conform to their own ethnic norms with respect to lawful behaviors as indicated by repeatedly performing acts that would be grounds for prosecution of the COMMON people!

Deception, as indicated by repeatedly lying, use of misdirection, or conning others for their own personal profit or pleasure!

Willingness, to plan ahead on how to confiscate what belongs to the people!

Aggressiveness, as indicated by repeatedly passing laws that will benefit special interests (only), for reckless disregard for what's best for the people and exempting themselves from the laws that they pass!

Consistent irresponsibility, as indicated by repeated failure to sustain consistent work performance and misappropriations of what has been intrusted to them!

Lack of remorse, as indicated by being indifferent to or making false excuses for having hurt, mistreated, and confiscated funds that belongs to the people!

Never passing any laws that will benefit all the people! (Name one!) (Example of a law that would benefit all the people; replacing the NOW corrupted Sixteenth Amendment with a "REAL" Fair Tax system - of course, that will never happen!)

Many of those in Congress and the Administration have degrees in Greedyology which they purchased with tax payer money from the Internet! (Being facetious)

CASE IN POINT: "SEQUESTRATION" (Another Government Snow Job)!

SEQUESTRATION is the act of removing, separating, or seizing anything from the possession of its owner (The People) under process of law for the benefit of CREDITORS of or for the Government. (In my opinion, another way of misappropriation of the Peoples funds!) (We have become a nation of, by and for the Government/Internationalists and alas, most Americans don't care!)

A Tall Tales Winter! By L. Don Oliver

The sun is shinning bright, With a warming delight, In a Winter of our content; No thought of the North, Summer apparel we sport, Of this we willingly consent;

Snow clouds are building, A warm front is shielding, From the frozen shroud; Pine trees begin scowling, To the Northeast they are bowing, From the screaming wind's loud;

The tree line once standing, Is no longer commanding, The pleasures of it's sight; The disappearance of it's form, That once came with each morn, Leave's only feelings of fright;

What's bad for the Drake, Maybe good for the Snake, But, no one really knows; We still have to defend, On what reality sends, After a destructive wind blows;

Swampyville’s - The Herd Mentality!

Excerpt from the Swampyville Gazette!

Reading between the Lines!

TODAY'S POLITICS: YOU CAN SIT ON THE LEFT KNEE - YOU CAN SIT ON THE RIGHT KNEE AND NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT "MISTER IN BETWEEN", BECAUSE HE HAS BEEN RENDERED IMPOTENT!

The Herd Mentality!

The term herd mentality is the word herd, meaning "group of animals", and mentality, implying a certain frame of mind. However the most succinct definition would be: "how large numbers of people follow in certain directions at the same times and never care where they are being led".

Herd behavior is distinguished from herd mentality because it applies to all animals, whereas the term mentality implies a uniquely human phenomenon. Herd mentality implies a fear-based reaction to peer pressure which makes individuals follow in order to avoid the feeling of being "left behind" from the group. Herd mentality is also sometimes known as "mob mentality". Actually, there is little difference between herd behavior and herd mentality when it comes to Politics!!

The Herd Roundup!

Large numbers of cattle live in a semi-wilderness state on the open range (suburbia) and are left to graze, mostly untended, for much of the time. In many cases, different ranchers (elitists/government) have formed "associations" (Special Interests - both, Democratic/Republican)) and graze their cattle together on the same range (Liberal Colleges/Universities). In order to later determine the "ownership" of these animals, they are marked with a distinctive brand (Social Security Number), applied usually while the cattle are still young calves. The primary cattle breed seen on the open range is the Caucasian Peon, descended from the original European Caucasian Peon imported in the 16th century, though other breeds of cattle were also imported, including the more hardier African Conscript (Slaves), Hispanic Illegals (undocumented workers? - mainly Mexican) and Asian breeds to increase profits (votes/taxes)!

In order to find young calves for branding (brainwashing), and to sort out mature (Middle Class) animals intended for market, ranchers hold a roundup, every year during April. A roundup requires a number of specialized skills on the part of Progressive cowboys (Elitists/Politicians) and horses (Biased Media). Individuals who separate tax paying cattle from the herd require the highest level of skill and ride specially trained "cutting" horses (Biased Media), trained to follow the movements of cattle, capable of stopping and turning faster than other horses (Unbiased Media). Once the cattle are sorted, most cowboys are required to rope young calves and restrain them to be branded and (in the case of some male calves) castrated. Often it is also necessary to restrain older cattle, who have out lived their usefulness (reaching Social Security age) and have become a burden on the ranchers and no longer are profitable. These older cattle are eventually driven to glue factories!

A large number of horses (Biased Media) are needed for a roundup. Each cowboy requires several fresh horses (Media Outlets) in the course of a day's work. Horses themselves are also rounded up. It is common practice for young foals to be born of tame (brainwashed) mares, but allowed to grow up "wild" in a semi-wilderness state on the open range. There are also "uncompromising" herds, often known as Mustangs (Grass root Movements). Both types are rounded up, and the animals tamed (brainwashed), a process called horse breaking, or "bronco-busting", usually performed by Progressive cowboys who specialize in manipulating horses. In some cases, extremely brutal methods are used to tame horses, and such animals tended to never be completely reliable (Tea Party). However, the cowboys became aware of the need to treat animals in a more progressive (Manipulating) fashion and modified their horse training methods (Adjusted Marxist Socialism), often re-learning techniques used by their predecessors, particularly those of the Marxist Socialist tradition. Horses trained in this altered progressive fashion are more reliable and useful for a wider variety of tasks; such as, herding the cattle into an urban environment until they are ready for the "Slaughter House".

The cattle are contented as long as the ranchers furnish them their every need!

For those of you that are concerned about future (programmed) tax paying cattle - Let not your insignificant heart be troubled - They will be created, with altered genes, by artificial means in a Laboratory!

I Heard the Robin Sing! by Optimistic Oriole!

When I was the innocent one, One morning in early spring; No thought of true reason, I heard the Robin sing;

He sang his sweet song of life, Of hope, faith, and charity; He sang of his everlasting wish, For a World in perfect harmony;

He sang his precious song, For conflict to never start; Then came the makers of hate, And tore all his dreams apart;

Like a forgotten soul, Forlorn in a castle keep; In the darkness of night, I heard the Robin weep;

We did not get there with you,
But, you paved the way with care; One day we will cross that Mountain, And find you abiding there;

Swampyville’s - The Season of Reason!

The Season of Reason! By L. Don Oliver

Tis the season for individual reason, To each their own acccord; I choose to celebrate the occasion, Of the birth of my Lord;

Tis the season that belongs to everyone, No matter who they may be; It's the season that gladdens every soul, From the worries that they perceive;

Too often it's used for politics, Others will use it to digress; Upon this season of joy and happiness, That the secularists wish to repress;

Trying to alter my belief system, Has been their effort from the start, They can attempt to change my mind, But they will never change my heart;

Upon this Season of Reason, Let love be our Waterfall; Peace on Earth, Goodwill to everyone, And a "Merry Christmas" to all;

There are places I remember, All my life, though some have changed; Some forever, not for better, Some have gone and some remain;

All these places had their moments, With loved ones and friends I can recall; Some have left and some are remaining, In my life, I've loved them all;

But of all these loved ones and friends, There is no one that compares with you; And your memory won't lose its meaning, When I think of something new;

Though I know I will never lose affection, For people and things that have gone before; I will often stop and think about them, But in my life, I will love you more;

It was after thanksgiving, Daddy and I went into the woods; To find the best southern pine, Anticipation described our moods;

Finding the best tree there, Daddy cut it at it's base; Saying, "Thank you, Oh! Lord", "For your infinite redeeming grace";

The scrawny tree standing forlorn, In the corner of our vacant living room, It's limbs outstretched and begging; Only added more to our present gloom;

When Mama gazed upon it, A tear came to her eye; Saying, "It can only get better", "That is, if we only try";

Alas, the times were tough, Our budget was extremely tight; Few extras that we could buy, Even a string of Holyday (Christmas) lights;

Many strands of colored paper, Cut and pasted into rings; They were entwined together, And wrapped around the wings;

Several strings of popcorn strung, Painted pine cones tied around; Adding to the Holyday (Christmas) Tree, All the what-nots to be found;

Red, White, Blue crochet doilies, Some crocheted with all three; Lovingly placed in strategic spots, All around the Holyday (Christmas) Tree;

Many multi-colored cloth remnants, cut into various strands; All tied to the tree limbs, Where bare needles demand;

Thin strips from an old white sheet, Icicles they were to be; Candy canes hung with care, All around the Holyday (Christmas) Tree;

When some candy canes went missing, The tree looked so forlorn; Mama would replace them all, On each and every morn;

A single crocheted Angel, Crocheted for everyone to see; Crocheted by Mama's loving hands, And placed on top of the tree;

Scenes with reverent views, All colored in crayon shades; Standing there we all gazed at; The transformation we had made;

Mama adjusted the Holyday (Christmas) Tree, Until it was standing right; Daddy played his worn guitar, And we all sang "Silent Night";

When Truth Dies! By L. Don Oliver

I can feel it, But, I can't see it, But, I know its there; Among the gathering dust, There in a pile of rust, Saying to all, beware;

Counting stars in the sky, That often run and hide, From reality's awaiting fate; Compromising the guise, Of those Who were not wise, And filling them with hate;

The Cabals of Glut, They're prone to strut, Displaying their ill gotten gain; The truth that they deceive, Trying to make us believe, It was Abel who slew Cain;

When the real truth dies, By propagandized lies, The people feel the pain; The children that were born, Who were too eagerly scorned, Their trust was all in vain;
