Sunday Deals: The Free Edition
I have a girlfriend who is determined to save money on her grocery budget but is struggling to find the time to clip coupons, track sales (even on blogs) and then get to the store and actually save money. She emailed me asking what she should do. Sound familiar? I’ll tell you what I told her: Forget the coupons.
WHAT?! Has she gone crazy?
Well I don’t mean to forget them forever, just for now.
The very first thing you can do for your family budget is to plan. Look through your cupboards and see what you have then plan your menus using those items. Plan your menus so that you have as few items to buy as
possible. Use the extra money in your weekly budget to buy a few extra of something on sale and you are on your way to frugal living!
