I Heart Al Franken
Al Franken won the Democratic nomination and will run against Republican Norm Coleman for Minnesota Senate. http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5hvonEK0aSFP9aZpT3p6uUTlUQ_GwD933KGPO0 Franken is known as a comedian and political commentator most notably writing and performing for Saturday Night Live. Personally I am a huge fan of Franken and enjoyed such works as "Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot," and "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right." I am ecstatic that he is running for office and I think that he has a good chance at winning the nomination. Minnesota is rather famous for its electing celebrity politicians. Remember Jesse "The Body" Ventura? The great state of Minnesota elected the former WWE wrestler as Governor in 1998. Franken's fame can only help him clinch the senate seat. Isn't he a bit radical you may ask? Of course! It's what makes Al Franken so Appealing! American's love a celebrity politician-Arnold Schwarzenegger, Fred Thompson, Sonny Bono, and Ronald Reagan. Can't wait for your next book Senator Franken!
