Tom Keegan takes early lead; panel split on Dallas-K.C.

After Week 1, your best bet when it comes to NFL picks is to listen to Tom Keegan.

The Journal-World sports editor's 4-1 record was the best of the nine celebrity pickers last week, as he correctly selected Kansas City, Chicago, New Orleans and Miami as winners.

There's a lot of variance in our Week 2 picks when it comes to the K.C. game, as six of the nine experts believe the Chiefs will beat the Dallas Cowboys and improve to 2-0 for the first time since the 2010 season.

Remember, you are invited to pick the games along with us at ljworld.com/pigskinpicks. Congrats to LaRay Anderson, who went 14-2 last week to win a $25 gift certificate from Yacht Club in Lawrence. New England and the New York Jets play tonight, so get those picks in quickly to be eligible for this week.
