October 12th Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up
Lawrence Police responded on three disturbances this morning within 30 minutes of each other at three separate Greek houses.
The first was reported in the 1100 block of Indiana Street at 1:44 a.m.. Dispatchers reported several subjects physically fighting, males and females. Medics responded to that scene for one subject with a possible broken nose, that injury was not said to be serious. Five LPD units were assigned to this call. No arrests were reported.
The second was reported just off in a parking lot on Gower Place west of Tennessee Street, at 1:55 a.m.. The third was reported in the 1500 block of Louisiana Street at 2:07 a.m.. No arrests were reported in either of these incidents.
Lawrence Police also responded on a Battery in the 700 block of New Hampshire Street at 2:19 a.m.. No arrests were reported.
Police arrested a female following a domestic disturbance in the 2400 block of Brookside Drive at 2:55 a.m.. She has been booked into the Douglas County Jail on a Domestic Battery charge.
The last disturbance of the morning was reported just after 3:30 a.m., in the 1500 block of W 21st Street.
Officers investigated two reports of criminal damage to property. One of those reports was in the 1200 block of Haskell Avenue where a caller reported it appeared a vehicle had struck and damaged a fence. The vehicle was no longer at the scene and it was unclear when the incident may have occurred, other than sometime overnight.
None of this morning's activity was reported to have involved any serious injuries.
