One person hospitalized following reported stabbing in Lawrence

Police are investigating after two people were found with lacerations in Eudora early Saturday.

Shortly before 3 a.m., Eudora Police and Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Medical crews were dispatched to an address in the 1500 block of Savage Street, on a reported cutting.

Eudora Police reported that the incident allegedly occurred in Lawrence and the victims were then transported to the Eudora address.

A medic unit transported one person to a Kansas City area trauma center with serious injuries, said to include a laceration to the neck. Two medic units responded on the call, only one transported a victim from the scene.

Lawrence Police continue to investigate and at least one officer is at the hospital trying to get more information from the victim.

It remains unclear where, or when, the incident occurred.
