Another morning of disturbances, one including a report of a stabbing in Lawrence.

Police were called to a disturbance in the 1700 block of W 24th Street at 3:20 a.m.. One person was said to have lacerations and medics did not report any serious injuries. Officers knew who the alleged suspect was and they were able to locate him about an hour later. At that time he was transported for further questioning. The relationship between the victim and alleged suspect remains unclear.

Officers had responded on another disturbance in the same general area about 20 minutes before the stabbing call was received. It was not clear if there was any relation between the two disturbances or if they just happened to be in the same area.

Police responded on another disturbance, this time said to be domestic. Again no serious injuries were reported.

As of this report, no arrests have been made in any of this morning’s disturbances.

Officers along with LDCFM also responded on a couple medical emergencies. One of which was said to be child birth. Last I heard, mother and baby sounded to be doing just fine.
