March 20th Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

The weather seemed to keep everything very quiet this morning.

Lawrence Police conducted four vehicle stops, cited a couple parking violations and responded on one noise complaint.

There were two non injury accidents reported, both of which were said to involve drivers leaving the scene of the accident.

The first was reported at 12:20 a.m., in the 2200 block of Ousdahl Road. That driver was located a short time later, just down the street, near W 23rd and Ousdahl. Police also reported that the driver did not have a valid Drivers License.

The second leaving the scene accident was reported around 1:45 a.m., in the 700 block of Vermont Street. Officers were able to catch up with that driver near an address in the 1200 block of Ohio. The driver was also suspected to be DUI.

None of this morning’s activity was said to have involved the use of any weapons or resulted in any serious injuries.
