June 25th Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

Lawrence Police conducted seven vehicle stops this morning, one resulting in an OUI related arrest.

Douglas County Deputies responded on at least two non-injury accidents, both were reported to be car versus deer accidents. Earlier this morning, Lawrence Police investigated a non-injury accident in the 500 block of Indiana at 3 a.m..

Officers also responded on at least three medical emergencies with Fire/Medical.

The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a Heat Advisory for Douglas County already this morning. That advisory will go into effect at 1pm and will remain in place until 8pm. Heat Indices are expected to be between 103 and 107. More information on this advisory can be found here from the National Weather Service office in Topeka.
