Things kept pretty quiet to begin with this morning. Officers responded on a few noise complaints, disturbances, and conducted one vehicle stop.

Just after 4 a.m., Eudora Police conducted a vehicle stop on K-10 near mile marker 13. The driver was arrested for OUI related charges.

At 4:44 a.m., Police in Lawrence were sent to check for a report of a water main break in the 1100 block of Hilltop Drive. It was unclear whether or not the two officers located anything. The caller reported it to be a “large” break. However, I did not hear any more regarding the report after officers were dispatched.

At 6 a.m., Officers were dispatched to the 2900 block of Bob Billings Parkway on a report of a disturbance with weapons. A subject told dispatchers that another man approached him and displayed a knife. The victim did not report any injuries and was not robbed. The man told police that the subject with the knife told him to stop walking past his house and then ran from the scene. Five officers responded to the area and as of this report have not made any arrests regarding the incident.

None of this morning’s activity was reported to have involved any serious injuries.
